As for the why of your move - you know how I feel. Sacrificing civil liberties and constitutional rights isn't going to make anyone safer, no matter what "they" say. Plus, pedophiles don't want to read about sex anyway, it's not what they're about, and I'm secure in the knowledge they're not brousing fanfic to find potential targets.
